Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Progress Teachers are supporting an inclusive and welcoming mainstream primary school in Birmingham who are seeking a Level 3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated SEN Hub team. This full-time role involves supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 with a range of additional needs, helping them to fully engage in learning and make progress both academically and emotionally. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND within the KS1 SEN Hub Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and development Assist in adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs Promote positive behaviour and social interaction Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external agencies Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and progress planning Requirements Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Experience supporting pupils with SEND (particularly within EYFS/KS1) Understanding of EHCP targets and differentiated learning Strong communication and relationship-building skills A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach A DBS on the Update Service OR Willingness to ..... full job details .....
