Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant in Medway to start immediately on a full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a driven and talented team.

Responsibilities:

• To work under the guidance of teaching staff to provide a safe and healthy environment for pupils
• Supervise and assist individual and small groups of pupils in lessons
• Help teachers prepare lesson materials and equipment, get the classroom ready for lessons and clear away after
• Observe, record and report pupils progress to teachers
• Help teachers manage class behaviour
• Supervise group activities, including outings and sports events
• Look after children who are upset or unwell
