Level 3 Teaching Assistant - EYFS

Your new companyDesian Education are proud to be supporting an extremely inclusive and supportive infant school in St Helens as they are looking to appoint an experienced and qualified teaching assistant for a full-time temporary contract. This position will last until at least the Christmas period subject to funding and has an immediate start available.Your new roleAs a teaching assistant within this school, you will be supporting the nursery and reception class teachers, working across both classrooms and supporting with general classroom and behaviour management. You will work collaboratively with the teachers to promote the engagement, learning and development of all pupils by planning and delivering a variety of educational activities in line with pupils key interests and the EYFS national curriculum. Both classes are extremely inclusive with a number of pupils with SEN so 1:1 support will also be required. Other duties will include:Learn through play to promote social and fine motor skillsPhonics sessions and assessments (RWI)Reading comprehensionOPAL and ForestWhat you need to succeedFull "Right to Work" in the UKAn NVQ Level 3 Children''s Care, Learning and Development or equivalent qualificationExpert knowledge of the EYFS national curriculumExperience supporting SEN is advantageousA minimum of 40 days referenceable classroom experience within the last 2 yearsAn Enhanced Children''s DBS certificate or willingness to obtainWhat you''ll get in returnIf you are ..... full job details .....
