Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our school teams in the Wirral area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to pupils and staff, helping to ensure that every child can achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, including learning difficulties, SEN, or behavioural challenges.
- Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment under the direction of class teachers.
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, ensuring effective communication with staff and parents where appropriate.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Supervise pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, or school activities as required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Education, Childcare, or have equivalent experience.
- Have experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Show flexibility, patience, and resilience in a school environment.
