Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Birkenhead

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS learning activities
• Assist in planning and implementing creative and stimulating lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to observations and assessments
• Support children with additional needs where required
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years (essential)
• Experience working within an EYFS setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
