The school caters for pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism spectrum conditions, communication difficulties, and associated social, emotional, and learning needs, and is dedicated to providing a structured, nurturing, and personalised learning environment.About the RoleThis role involves working closely with teaching staff to support pupils with diverse and often complex needs. The successful candidate will help deliver highly individualised learning programmes, promote independence, and support pupils in developing key life skills alongside their academic progress.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to pupils with autism and additional needsAssist in delivering individualised education plans (EHCP outcomes)Support pupils'' communication, behaviour regulation, and sensory needsHelp create a structured, predictable learning environment using strategies such as visual supports and routinesWork collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionalsPromote positive behaviour using consistent and supportive approachesSupport pupils'' personal development, independence, and wellbeingWhat We Are Looking ForA Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)Experience working with ..... full job details .....
