Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom? Do you have the experience, patience and confidence to provide effective support while working closely with teachers and other school staff?

Academics are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Barking & Dagenham to join a primary school on a long-term basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced TA who wants to become a valued member of a school team while making a genuine difference to pupils'' learning and development.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both academically and personally, helping create a positive classroom environment where children feel confident and ready to learn.

The Level 3 Teaching Assistant role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
• Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
• Helping pupils access learning through tailored support and encouragement
• Working with children who may have additional learning or educational needs
• Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm classroom environment
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and resilience
• Preparing and organising classroom resources where required
• Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to the class teacher
• Building positive relationships with pupils and becoming a trusted member of the school team
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
• Contributing to a welcoming and inclusive learning environment

What We''re Looking For

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and ideally have previous experience working within a primary school setting.
