Level 3 Qualified Room LeaderZero2Five is delighted to be partnering with a high-quality nursery in Derby, seeking a dedicated Level 3 Qualified Room Leader to become part of a skilled team that provides a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for both children and staff to thrive.Requirements Recent experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 yearsLevel 3 qualified in ChildcareGood knowledge of child development, with experience completing observations and recordsUnderstanding of health and safety requirements in childcare environmentsStrong communication skills with children and adultsSEN experience Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and educational programmes that reflect each child s individual needs, interests, and stage of development.Observe, assess, and accurately record children s progress, working closely with parents and guardians to gain a holistic understanding of each child s development.Adapt teaching approaches to support a range of learning styles and abilities, ensuring an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive environment for all children.Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners, offering guidance to ensure high-quality care and learning experiences, including supporting and training new staff and students while clearly communicating room expectations.Ensure children requiring additional support have appropriate targets in place, completed by yourself or the team, and reviewed daily to provide consistent ..... full job details .....
