Nursery Teacher / Room Lead / Senior Nursery Teacher – North London 

Up to £15.50 per hour depending on experience 

Full time, all year round.

The Role 
We’re looking for a Nursery Teacher, Room Lead or Senior Nursery Teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and leadership to the classroom. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education, while supporting and inspiring your team. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver engaging, child-led activities in line with the EYFS curriculum 
• Observe, assess, and support each child’s development, creating a stimulating learning environment 
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support to junior staff in your room 
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues 
• Promote equality, inclusion, and safeguarding at all times 
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised environment 

What We’re Looking For 

• Relevant early years qualification (Level 3 or above) 
• Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting 
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and child development 
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills 
• Passionate, motivated, and committed to high standards in early education 
• Desirable: training in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, SENDco, or Forest School
