This role offers excellent flexibility with day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and opportunities for temporary-to-permanent positions within primary settings.About the RoleAs a Nursery / EYFS Assistant, you will:- Support the class teacher by delivering a wide range of stimulating and engaging activities.- Prepare the classroom for lessons, including setting up and tidying resources each day.- Supervise children during break and lunchtime, ensuring safe and happy play.- Assist children in learning through play, engaging through observation, interaction, and guided play.- Work with individual pupils or small groups to support speaking and listening, reading, writing, and Maths.- Promote the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of all children.- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to planning discussions.- Attend relevant training, courses, and CPD opportunities for professional development.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:- Adaptability to support both short-term and long-term placements.- A genuine passion for inspiring young learners.- Previous experience in an early year or children''s setting (desirable but not essential).- ..... full job details .....
