About the Role
A Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant is needed for a full-time role within a school-based nursery in Hailsham. Working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, you will support children aged three to four years in their early development. The daily salary ranges from £85 to £95, depending on experience. The Role As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children aged 3–4 years in their learning and development.
- Deliver high-quality play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage children's independence, communication and social development.
- Observe and record children's progress, contributing to assessments where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Help maintain a safe, happy and stimulating nursery environment.
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Has experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting.
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Is patient, nurturing and passionate about supporting children's development.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
