Role: Qualified Teaching Assistant - Early Years

Location: Northallerton
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Empowering Learning are working with a fantastic private day nursery in Northallerton who are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone enthusiastic, nurturing, and passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their education journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning within the Early Years classroom
• Getting down on the carpet and engaging in play-based activities
• Assisting with personal care, including changing nappies
• Helping to set up and deliver engaging activities
• Supporting children with early literacy, numeracy, and social development
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements:

• Must hold a Level 3 Early Years/ Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience in Early Years or nursery settings is a must
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to purchase one)
