Job description

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support children in Key Stage 2 at a welcoming primary school in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils in upper primary years reach their full potential both academically and socially.

Responsibilities

Support the class teacher with learning across the KS2 curriculum

Provide 1:1 and small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects

Encourage independence, focus, and positive behaviour in the classroom

Assist with preparation of learning resources and classroom management

Contribute to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Requirements

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

Previous UK school-based experience (KS2 preferred)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

2 professional references covering the last 2 years

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a caring, adaptable approach
