This Level 2 EYP opportunity is for an Early Years Practitioner who enjoys supporting young children''s play, communication and everyday care alongside an experienced nursery team.

Role Highlights for a Level 2 EYP

• Position: Level 2 EYP.
• Pay: -14.2516.65 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.
• Location: Enfield, London.
• Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.
• Working pattern: Supply and longer-term opportunities, depending on vacancies.

Your Role as a Level 2 EYP

As a Level 2 EYP, you will support the room team in delivering age-appropriate activities and maintaining routines that help children feel secure.

• Prepare play spaces and join in with stories, creative activities and practical exploration.
• Encourage children''s language and social development through positive everyday interactions.
• Assist with meals, hygiene and personal care in line with the setting''s procedures.
• Share observations with the room leader and help maintain a safe, organised environment.

What We Are Looking For in a Level 2 EYP

• A Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or higher, is essential.
• A caring Level 2 EYP with experience in a nursery, preschool or comparable early years setting.
• Understanding of EYFS practice, safeguarding awareness and willingness to follow room routines.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one, alongside satisfactory safeguarding checks.
