We are recruiting a Level 2 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to support a busy and welcoming Children''s Centre in Islington. This is an ad-hoc position, perfect for practitioners who want the freedom to choose their own working pattern while continuing to gain valuable Early Years experience.

The centre offers a lively, creative, and supportive environment where children are encouraged to learn through play and exploration. Staff are friendly, approachable, and passionate about delivering high-quality care and early education.

Whether you are looking for a few shifts a week or occasional work around other commitments, this role offers genuine flexibility.

• Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning and development

  
  

• Assisting with indoor and outdoor play activities

  
  

• Helping to maintain a safe and engaging environment

  
  

• Supporting meal times, routines, and transitions

  
  

• Working closely with senior practitioners and the wider Early Years team

  
  

• Encouraging children''s confidence, independence, and social skills

  
  

• Holds a Level 2 Early Years qualification

  
  

• Has previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or children''s centre

  
  

• Is enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable

  
  

• Enjoys building positive relationships with children and families

  
  

• Has a good understanding of the EYFS

  
  

• Can work effectively as part of a team
