Job Title: LEV Engineer (Dust and Fume)

Location: Nottingham, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: -28k - -48k + Training & Benefits

Our client has recently grown their client base, and is seeking an experienced and qualified LEV Engineer, who specialises within dust/fume extraction. The role will primarily involve conducting inspections and testing on LEV systems within heavy industry / manufacturing premises. As a minimum, candidates must hold the BOHS P601 qualification, but further certificates would be advantageous. This company is able to offer great further training and development for the right individual. We can consider candidates from various locations across England, due to the placement of new contracts. You will be travelling across: Nottingham, Derby, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Mansfield, Birmingham, Burton upon Trent, Tamworth, Lichfield, Leicester, Rugeley, Cannock, Stafford, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coventry, West Bromwich, Bromsgrove, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Alfreton, Matlock, Chesterfield.

Experience / Qualifications:

Proven track record working as an LEV Engineer, within the dust / fume sector

Must hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum

- Robust technical knowledge, including the HSG 258 guidelines

It would be advantageous to hold: P600, P602, P603, and / or P604

Able to travel in line with client needs

Good literacy and numeracy skills

- Confident using IT software

The Role:

Inspecting, testing and servicing of LEV systems within commercial, heavy industry and manufacturing sites

Inspecting and testing fume cupboards

Emissions testing and air quality monitoring

Identifying any system faults and making recommendations for service / remedial works

Completing subsequent repairs, including fan, belt and filter changes

Interpreting schematic drawings and blueprints

Producing bespoke and thorough technical reports

Adhering to agreed deadlines

Representing the company in a professional manner
