LEV Engineer

Job Title: LEV Engineer
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary/Benefits: -28k - -45k + Training & Benefits

Due to recent company expansion, our client is seeking a knowledgeable LEV Engineer to cover client sites across the South Central and South West of England. Applicants will be expected to hit the ground running, so it is essential that applicants can confidently undertake LEV examination and service works. The company is a successful, multi-disciplined outfit, who offer a large variety of compliance and environmental services, so there are excellent cross-training opportunities. Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong experience working as an LEV Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Must hold the BOHS P601 qualification
- Robust technical knowledge, including: COSHH and HSG 258 guidelines
- Flexible and hardworking attitude
- IT Proficient
- Good literacy and numeracy skills

The Role:
- Undertaking thorough examinations of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems
- Emissions and indoor air quality testing
- Working on dust and fume extraction systems
- Testing of fume cupboards
- Replacing components, such as: belts, blades, motors and filters
- Identifying any system errors and making recommendations for replacement / repair
- Producing thorough technical reports
- Meeting clients to communicate results and answer any technical queries
- Fostering positive relationships with clients
- Working across a range of sites, including: manufacturing, industrial and commercial
