We''re looking for an experienced LEV Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering complex projects across the UK nuclear sector. This is an opportunity to work on technically demanding, safety-critical projects where your designs genuinely matter and where "that''ll probably do" isn''t an acceptable engineering philosophy. ️ What you''ll be doing You''ll be responsible for designing and developing Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems across major nuclear projects, including: Designing LEV and specialist ventilation systems Producing calculations, specifications and technical reports Designing extraction hoods, ductwork, fans and filtration systems Undertaking airflow and pressure-drop calculations Developing designs from concept through detailed design and delivery Working alongside mechanical, electrical, process and structural engineers Supporting commissioning, testing and troubleshooting Participating in design reviews and technical meetings Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, legislation and client requirements Supporting safety-critical engineering assessments ️ Why nuclear?
