Leicestershire County Council is seeking experienced Qualified Social Workers to join our Learning Disability and Autism Teams in Hinckley These are excellent opportunities for skilled practitioners with a strong background in Learning Disability and Autism services to make a tangible impact within our communities. You will support adults to live fulfilling and independent lives, while ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and rights are upheld. The posts are being offered on a temporary 3-month basis, with a targeted focus on reducing waiting lists and ensuring timely assessments and reviews. Key Responsibilities Undertake Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments, and reviews. Develop and implement person-centred support plans that promote independence and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and partner agencies. Manage safeguarding enquiries and contribute to multi-agency meetings. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records using electronic systems. Support the team''s targeted approach to reduce outstanding assessments. About You We''re looking for motivated, professional, and compassionate Social Workers who are confident working with adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will need to have: A recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW, BA, MA, or equivalent). Social Work England registration. Completed ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment).
