Legionella (Water) Compliance SpecialistLocation: East London Rate: 450 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella) Contract: 3-month rollingThe OpportunityWe''re supporting a housing provider to appoint a Legionella (Water) Compliance Specialist to bring structure, oversight, and technical assurance to a developing compliance area.This is a hands-on role focused on moving the organisation from a fragmented position to clear, confident compliance - combining site-level understanding with strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and best practice.The RoleLead on Legionella compliance across the housing portfolioReview current position and provide a clear gap analysis across policy, process, and deliveryProcess map end-to-end compliance activity - from risk assessments through to remedial actionsEnsure effective response to risk assessments, including tracking and closing actionsOversee delivery of key works such as tank removals, remedials, and system improvementsReview and refine policies, procedures, and compliance frameworksWork closely with contractors to assess what''s working vs not workingProvide practical, delivery-focused oversight - not just advisorySupport the organisation to reach a sustainable and auditable compliant positionAbout YouStrong working knowledge of Legionella control, relevant legislation, and ACOP L8 guidanceExperience in housing, public sector, or complex property portfoliosAble to operate across both technical compliance and operational deliveryProven ..... full job details .....
