Key responsibilities of the Legionella Risk Assessor

• Assessing water systems and producing schematics
• Leading large-scale disinfection work, including mains injections
• Testing and servicing TMVs
• Collecting samples and monitoring temperatures
• Inspecting tanks and auditing site log books
• Remedial plumbing tasks such as removing dead legs (desirable)

Skills and experience

• A track record of completing Legionella risk assessments
• Practical water hygiene background
• Able to stay away from home roughly twice a month
• Full driving licence and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS
