A well-known name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry is recruiting for a reliable Legionella Remedial Plumber in the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have robust technical experience of repairing existing systems and installing new components (including: tanks, TMVs and cylinders). It is essential that you are confident in diagnosing faults whilst on site, in order to make appropriate recommendations for prospective works. Our client is offering attractive salaries and benefits packages (including: overtime, company vehicle, fuel card, pension scheme and annual leave allowance).

Experience / Qualifications:

• Track record working as a Plumber within a Legionella / Water Hygiene industry
• It is essential to be qualified with the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
• It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
• Conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Able to prioritise own workload
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Inspecting existing domestic hot and cold water systems to identify required remedial works
• TMV maintenance and replacements
• Removing deadlegs
• Installing cold water storage tanks and associated pipework
• Fitting POU heaters
• Pipework modifications
• Outlet replacements / fitting
• Installing expansion vessels
• Attending call-outs when needed
• Producing regular service reports
