Legal Secretary / Paralegal

I am currently looking for an ambitious and motivated Legal Secretary / Assistant or Paralegal within Residential Conveyancing to join our expanding Legal team within a modern, progressive company. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and career-focused individual to play a key role in the continued growth of the business while developing their own career.The ideal candidate:The successful candidate will be organised, detail-focused and confident working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.Ideally, you will have at least 2 years'' experience in residential conveyancing and be confident supporting matters through to completion.Your duties:Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from file opening through to completion, including purchases, sales, remortgages, probate sales, transfers and redemptionsHandle client enquiries, liaise with all parties and provide clear, proactive updates throughout each transactionPrepare and issue contract packs, property reports and supporting legal documentationRaise, review and respond to enquiries accurately and efficientlyManage the receipt and arrangement of funds in accordance with firm proceduresPrepare and submit Land Registry applications and deal with requisitionsPrepare SDLT submissions and carry out post-completion mattersSupport leasehold and new build transactions where requiredUse Leap Legal Software where appropriate; previous experience would be beneficial but is not ..... full job details .....
