The Conveyancing Legal Secretary will help maximise fee-earning time by providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support in a client-facing environment.The role requires a confident communicator who can deal with clients sensitively and discreetly, while working proactively with colleagues across the firm.The RoleAs a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, your principal responsibility will be to support the fee earner you report to, assisting with the day-to-day management of their workload and ensuring files are progressed efficiently and accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesAudio typing and preparation of correspondence including letters, emails and documentsOpening and closing files, including completion of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checksDrafting legal documents from audio dictationManaging photocopying, printing, scanning and arranging couriersHandling internal and external telephone calls, ensuring messages are passed on promptlyMonitoring post and emails and responding appropriatelyDealing with basic client queries and general administrationPreparing bills and assisting with the billing process in liaison with fee earners and accountsRequesting cheques and bank transfers and ..... full job details .....
