Legal Secretary

Kinetic are recruiting a Legal Secretary to join the residential conveyancing department of a law firm based in Heywood.

This is an opportunity for an experienced conveyancing secretary or assistant who is confident using case management systems, has excellent typing skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and requires previous experience in residential conveyancing.

Role:
* Preparing contracts, transfers, bills and completion statements
* Ordering redemption figures, property searches and mortgage funds
* Preparing Certificates of Title (COT)
* Dealing with final searches and Land Registry requisitions
* Updating lender systems and dealing with LMS
* Communicating with clients, estate agents and solicitors via email and telephone
* Providing secretarial and administrative support to the residential conveyancing department
* Managing a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:
* Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential
* Experience using case management systems
* Fast and accurate typing skills
* Good knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures
* Strong IT and administrative skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Able to manage a busy workload and work efficiently under pressure
