Legal Secretary - Various DisciplinesWe are seeking a professional, adaptable Legal Secretary to provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee-earning lawyers across a range of practice areas (including but not limited to litigation, commercial, property, family, employment and probate). The successful candidate will be organised, discreet and able to manage competing deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.Key responsibilities- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to lawyers: drafting and formatting letters, wills, court documents, agreements and pleadings- Manage diaries, arrange hearings, court attendance and meetings; complete court bundle preparation and e-filing where required- Maintain and update case files and electronic document management systems- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone enquiries and client liaison with tact and professionalism- Accurately record time/billing information and assist with basic billing procedures- Prepare and proofread documents, ensuring compliance with practice-specific formatting and procedural requirements- Liaise with barristers, clients, and third parties; coordinate appointments and travel arrangements- Take minutes, prepare routine reports, and support fee-earners in preparing for hearings and closings- Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirementsSkills and experience required- Proven experience as a legal secretary or senior legal ..... full job details .....
