Legal Secretary - Employment Team
Role Overview:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our busy Employment Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in employment law within a well-established and client-focused firm.Key Responsibilities:Assisting solicitors with a wide range of employment matters, including both contentious and non-contentious workDrafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and tribunal bundlesManaging client files, ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance with firm proceduresLiaising with clients, counsel, and third parties in a professional and timely mannerConducting legal research and summarising findingsSupporting with Employment Tribunal claims and case preparationHandling administrative tasks such as billing, file opening, and diary managementSkills and Experience:Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal (employment law experience desirable but not essential)Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and a methodical approach to workProficient in Microsoft Office and case management systemsA genuine interest in employment law and client carePersonal Attributes:Professional, approachable, and team-orientedSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn and developAble to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentSearch is ..... full job details .....
