We''re working with a highly reputable legal firm in Edinburgh who are looking for a Legal PA to provide high-level support to their fee earners. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm offering hybrid working (50% WFH) and great scope for professional development.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and proofread correspondence, documentation, and presentations using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe/Foxit, BundleDocs, and other relevant software.

  • Draft correspondence and amend large documents (including using track changes), liaising with Document Production when required.

  • Manage client and matter administration, including opening/closing files, AML checks, conflict searches, and letters of engagement.

  • Provide proactive diary management, schedule meetings, book rooms/catering, organise travel, and manage itineraries.

  • Monitor and manage fee earners'' inboxes, handle client queries, and liaise with internal teams (Finance, IT, Marketing, Facilities).

  • Support billing processes, including disbursements, expenses, client fee portals, and regular Active Matter reviews.

  • Assist at meetings, including taking minutes and following up on actions.

  • Maintain document and file management systems (both paper and digital) and ensure accurate database updates.

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support, including organising team training and liaising with external suppliers.



Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a PA/EA in a legal or professional services environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe/Foxit, and experience with billing and document management systems.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Condeco (room booking) and CMS reporting.

  • Previous involvement in billing, disbursements, and client fee portals.
