An exciting new role to join a small, independent law firm based in the heart of the West End as a

IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer . Joining a small IT team of 4, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, performance and security of the firm''s IT infrastructure, working across Microsoft 365, Azure, VMWare, networking and endpoint management platforms Intune and AutoPilot. You will also be involved in projects such as their forthcoming Windows 11 migration.Responsibilities

Provide 3rd line escalation for server and network issuesTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues with root cause analysisDesign and implement infrastructure solutionsLead technical planning for projectsEvaluate and recommend new technologiesAdminister and optimise Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, Azure and VMWare environmentsImplement and monitor security controls and carry out regular infrastructure health checks and vulnerability remediationImprove disaster recovery and business continuity processesWrite and maintain detailed documentation and standardsQualifications and Requirements

To apply for this exciting role in a lovely team and firm, you will need

5+ years experience in an Infrastructure role that gave you exposure to solution design and architecture, ideally within a law firm or similar professional services environment.You will need strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, VMWare virtualisation and advanced Microsoft 365 administration encompassing Exchange, Sharepoint. You will need solid networking knowledge with TCP/IP, DNS, VPN and good knowledge with InTune and Autopilot so basically a good solid all-rounder with networking and infrastructure and security.
