Legal Director - Crime and Regulatory

Modern and progressive multi office law firm are seeking an accomplished, senior lawyer-either already operating at Legal Director level or an enthusiastic Associate / Senior Associate ready to take the next step with the support of a superb management team. In this role you will join a highly ranked Crime and Regulatory team working across a broad and complex caseload, including:Inquests and public inquiriesProfessional disciplinePolice gross misconduct investigationsHealth and safety, environmental and licensing mattersEntity regulation (including Ofsted and CQC) As a Legal Director, you will:Lead on complex, high-value regulatory matters, including advocacy where appropriateBe a technical specialist to deal with complex inquests and fitness to practise cases, undertaking own advocacy and helping support and develop juniorsProvide commercial, pragmatic advice to businesses and individuals (insured and uninsured)Support the strategic direction and growth of the Crime and Regulatory teamBuild strong relationships with insurers, clients and internal partnersSupervise, develop and inspire junior lawyersContribute to business development, marketing and thought leadershipTake ownership of financial performance, important metrics and profitabilityThis is a great opportunity to be part of an expanding team and help shape the structure and growth of the team working alongside senior management.
