Legal Counsel

I''m currently recruiting for an opportunity for a UK-qualified Legal Counsel to join a growing international business and supporting the Head of Legal. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to develop their in-house career, with significant exposure to the wider business and the opportunity to become a key member of an expanding legal function. The role will have a strong focus on commercial and technology contracts. As the Legal Counsel, you will receive a salary of £65k per annum, depending on experience, plus a monthly car allowance plus a broad benefits scheme and hybrid working. Hours are: 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Your main duties as the Legal Counsel will include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for commercial based transactions Developing template contracts for improved business efficiency Joining customer calls to answer questions about the legal and commercial risk profile, product and service offerings as well as operational policies and practices Working in collaboration with commercial and compliance teams on various deals under end of month, quarter and year end pressures, assessing when to escalate within the team or to senior management stakeholders when required Assist with various legal projects across the organisation As the Legal Counsel, you will be: A UK-qualified lawyer with over 2+ years'' PQE Strong commercial contracts experience and ideally some previous in-house exposure Experience or ..... full job details .....
