Legal Counsel - Procurement

Overview
Reporting to a Senior Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work independently, bringing your prior knowledge of commercial and supplier procurement related matters to the fore and developing further in both areas. You will be actively shaping legal strategy with suppliers, tackling daily corporate compliance, and guiding complex projects. Your focus will be on commercial matters for our UKandI business, working across all areas of this space - suppliers, outsourcing, consulting, licensing, IP, hosting, GDPR, and as part of our team, this scope will be broadened with involvement, learning and contributing to areas such as corporate affairs and legal entity management. As our business develops and increases our use of AI, you will develop further expertise in this field in parallel. In short you will become part of a diverse, hardworking, energetic, and truly international team of lawyers working for Atos within UK and Ireland specifically, and Atos globally in general.
ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with our procurement department, both locally and at group level, on all supplier related matters and negotiationsManage and coordinate the handling of complex and varied legal and transactional matters.Lead and execute end-to-end complex projects with suppliers and procurementReview, drafting, and negotiating of a wide variety of commercial and procurement related contracts working closely with Atos commercial, procurement and sales leadsAdvising in contract reviews and approval processesWithin our team we see a rich combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and personal attributes.
