Legal Counsel - Midlands - Hybrid working.Astral Legal has partnered with a leading Financial Services company based in the Midlands.This is a hybrid role offering 2 days a week in the office.You will be joining a small team handling a variety of legal work across a regulated environment. Due to the size of the team you will gain exposure to high quality work. The role will focus primarily on corporate and commercial work (approximately 50%), alongside involvement in governance, employment, property, procurement, litigation and other Legal matters.The ideal candidate will ideally be a junior lawyer between 0-3-year PQE but my client is open to PQE levels. Key Responsibilities for the Legal counsel will be:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, including supplier, service and partnership contracts.Supporting corporate transactions and strategic projects across the business.Supporting corporate governance processes, including board and committee documentation where required.Assisting with compliance with relevant regulatory obligations applicable to a listed consumer financial services businessHelping on employment matters in conjunction with HR and external advisers.Advising on procurement processes and reviewing supplier documentation.Other associated Legal workIf you are a Legal Counsel looking for a new role or a currently in Private Practice looking for your first In-House move please reach out for a confidential chat. ..... full job details .....
