      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | The Role: Legal Counsel (Litigation)The Client: Consumer LenderThe Location: LondonWe are working with a fast-growing, customer focused financial services provider who is looking to bring in their first qualified lawyer with a background in financial services disputes. This will be a hands on role where you will be managing and defending claims in relation to debt recovery, section 75 claims and all fraud disputes. This will be a varied role where you will be working managing the paralegal function, and working on all legal matters (including commercial contracts).The successful candidate:3-5 years PQE England and Wales Qualified Lawyer (Barristers also of interest) with proven experience in FS disputes, especially debt recovery and consumer credit disputes.Currently working within or with a lender, consumer credit businesses or financial services business.
