Part-Time Legal Counsel

to ensure our operations, solutions, and partnerships align with evolving global AI and data protection laws.Location:

Remote

Hours:

20 hours per week

Salary Range:

$60,000 – $90,000 (annualized, based on part-time hours)Responsibilities:

Provide legal guidance on

AI governance, data privacy, and emerging AI regulations

across multiple jurisdictions.Monitor and interpret AI-related laws and compliance frameworks, with a focus on

EU (GDPR, AI Act), UK, UAE, and KSA regulatory landscapes .Advise on

compliance requirements for AI deployment, risk mitigation strategies, and ethical AI practices .Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and data processing agreements in line with

global privacy and AI laws .Assist in developing

internal AI and data policies

that align with legal and ethical best practices.Support HUX AI in engagements with

regulators, industry bodies, and stakeholders

on AI compliance matters.Conduct

legal risk assessments

on AI products and services, ensuring alignment with global AI governance standards.Educate internal teams on

AI ethics, data privacy, and risk management

through training sessions and legal updates.Provide legal support for partnerships, product development, and corporate matters within AI compliance.Preferred Qualifications:

5-6+ years of legal experience, with a focus on AI, data protection, and technology law.Deep knowledge of EU GDPR, AI Act, UK data and AI laws, UAE (ADGM, DIFC) regulations, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia data/AI frameworks.Experience advising on AI compliance, algorithmic accountability, and ethical AI frameworks.Strong understanding of cross-border data transfers, regulatory reporting, and AI-related contract negotiation.Ability to develop and implement legal policies and compliance frameworks for AI-driven solutions.Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and regulatory interpretation skills.Experience working with startups, technology firms, or AI governance-focused companies preferred.Passion for AI governance, ethics, and the legal landscape shaping AI adoption worldwide.At Hux AI, we’re not just building technology—we’re creating possibilities.
