The company has pioneered online trading development worldwide and maintains offices in several countries.The global Legal Team currently includes Group Heads of Legal, Senior Legal Counsel lawyers, Legal Counsel lawyers, and Paralegals.Role and Responsibilities:Assist the Head of Legal - UK, Senior Legal Counsel, and the wider Senior Management team in achieving CMC Markets’ objectives.Draft and negotiate various commercial contracts, including:Client-facing terms of business;Corporate transactions such as joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, MandA documentation;Marketing, outsourcing, and institutional/partner agreements;Lease agreements for regional offices;Engagement letters for external advisers;Financing arrangements like facility agreements;IT contracts.Contribute to providing high-quality legal services to the business.Monitor legal updates and share relevant information with the Legal Team.Coordinate with global Legal Department colleagues.Perform duties as reasonably required within the role’s responsibilities.Assist global Compliance teams with responses to regulatory issues and rule changes.Support Operations Team with platform-related project work.Collaborate with CMC’s Institutional Team on product launches and related documentation.Provide legal support to CMC’s offices worldwide.Ensure compliance of global terms of business with local laws and regulations.Assist with expansion efforts and cross-border legal considerations.Protect CMC’s intellectual property rights and address infringements.Manage external advisers efficiently, balancing costs and quality.Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial services industry and relevant legal developments.Key Skills and Experience:Qualified solicitors from any jurisdiction or individuals with substantial relevant experience.Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of explaining complex legal issues clearly.Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong knowledge of ISDA documentation.Experience in the financial services sector, especially with prime brokers or similar ..... full job details .....
