The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for a Legal Counsel, Business Banking to develop or advance their in-house legal career in a fast-paced banking environment. As Legal Counsel, Business Banking, you''ll work closely with, and under the supervision of, our Head of Legal and Senior Legal Counsel to provide commercial, pragmatic legal advice to the Bank''s Business Banking team. Your focus will be on supporting commercial lending transactions (including syndicated loans and project finance), reviewing security documents, and acting as a point of contact for legal queries - corresponding with Relationship Managers, external Panel Solicitors, and internal teams. You''ll also advise on property-related matters, such as commercial leases, and play a key role in shaping the legal framework for high-value transactions.
