Legal Cashier

Fin Search are recruiting a Legal Cashier on an initial 6 month contract basis for a leading legal firm based in Leeds city centre. This role will turn permanent for the right candidate.

The business is operating a hybrid working model - 1 day in the office and 4 days at home each week.

As a Legal Cashier, this role will be responsible for owning key cashiering processes to include managing complex transactions, reconciliations and query resolution whilst adhering to SRA Accounts Rules.

Key duties will include:

• Performing and reviewing client and office account reconciliations
• Overseeing daily cash management-
• Taking ownership of billing, credit control and payments-
• Supporting with month end activities
• Support intercompany transactions where relevant

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of working as a legal cashier previously
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills

-30,000 - -33,000 + hybrid working model (1 day a week in the office, 4 days a week at home) + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + 35 hour working week
