This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous legal cashiering or accounts experience who enjoys working in a busy, professional environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring regulatory compliance. Working alongside a supportive and experienced team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day financial operations of the firm, handling client and office account transactions, processing payments and ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules. The position is fully office based at the firm''s Brentwood office, with free parking available. The Role As a Legal Cashier, your responsibilities will include: Processing financial transactions accurately across client and nominal ledgers. Arranging payments through online banking, including international transfers. Posting HM Land Registry (HMLR), HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) and property search fees to client ledgers. Carrying out daily bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are processed promptly.
