Legal Assistant - Residential ConveyancingFull-Time Office BasedTSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established and reputable law firm who are looking to appoint an experienced Legal Assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing Department.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic conveyancing professional who enjoys working in a supportive team environment while providing hands-on support to an experienced fee earner.The RoleYou will provide direct support to a Residential Conveyancer, assisting with a varied caseload of sales and purchases from instruction through to post-completion. This is a fast-paced department, so previous conveyancing experience is essential.Your responsibilities will include:Opening and closing files using the firm''s case management systemTaking client instructions, obtaining source of funds and carrying out ID checksProviding regular updates to clients, solicitors and estate agents via telephone and emailPreparing draft documents and issuing contract packs on salesRequesting mortgage redemption statementsDrafting transfer deedsResponding to enquiries on sales transactionsOrdering and reviewing searchesAssisting with exchange of contracts on sales and purchasesUndertaking pre-completion searchesPreparing and submitting LTT/SDLT returnsManaging post-completion formalitiesWhat My Client Is Looking ForPrevious experience as a Conveyancing Assistant (essential)Strong communication and interpersonal ..... full job details .....
