We are delighted to be working with our client to recruit a Legal Assistant to join their Housing Legal Team on a fixed-term contract until March 2027.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to gain valuable experience in tenancy enforcement and landlord and tenant law within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Your new role
As a Legal Assistant, you will support the delivery of legal services across housing-related matters, with a particular focus on tenancy enforcement. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while collaborating closely with an experienced legal team.Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting a range of legal documentation relating to tenancy enforcement
• Managing your own caseload effectively and in line with deadlines
• Liaising with key external stakeholders, including courts, counsel and external solicitors
• Providing legal advice and guidance to internal teams
• Supporting wider team activities as needed

What you''ll need to succeed
Our client is seeking a proactive, organised individual with a strong interest in housing law and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.You will have:

• An LLB Law degree with relevant legal experience, or
• An LPC qualification with relevant legal experience

You will also bring:

• Strong drafting and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
• Confidence in dealing with both internal stakeholders and external partners
