This is an excellent opportunity for a legal accounts professional who is looking to take on a leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking business.Working closely with senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Legal Accounts function, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the ongoing development of the team.The RoleAs Legal Accounts Manager / Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Legal Accounts department. You will provide leadership and guidance to the team while ensuring all financial processes are completed accurately and in line with SRA Accounts Rules and other regulatory requirements.Key responsibilities will include:Managing, mentoring, and developing the Legal Accounts team.Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, GDPR, and HMRC requirements.Reviewing office and client account bank reconciliations.Overseeing billing, payments, transfers, receipts, and other legal accounting transactions.Managing residual balances and ensuring compliance-related matters are dealt with appropriately.Supporting Legal Aid billing and payment processes ..... full job details .....
