Lecturer
or
Senior Lecturer
in the Law Academic Team based at our
Moorgate Campus . This role operates on a 5-over-7-day pattern, which may include evenings and weekends to support our flexible delivery model. Reporting into our Academic Management Team, you will be delivering tuition across the University of Law course portfolio to the best possible standard.The role may also involve conducting Higher Rights of Audience approved assessments.Responsibilities
Deliver high quality teaching and support for learning, including communication with other academics for continuous improvement of teaching and student supportIdentify the need for developing content, structure, and assessment within modules and collaborate on how this should be achievedContribute to effective design and review of inclusive learning; maintain quality standards and regulations in curricular designCommunicate complex ideas clearly to learners and peers using high-level skillsAct as a module tutor, academic coach and sign-post students on pastoral aspects during their learning journeyRequirements
Lecturer
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subjectFellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towardsRelevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards PGCHEIf not currently held, enrolment into the programme (delivered and financially supported by the University) usually within 12 months of passing probation; successful completion/qualification is essentialSenior Lecturer
Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant subjectFellowship of Advance HE (HEA)Relevant teaching qualificationSenior Lecturers will have developed significant expertise in the application and practical delivery of a range of teaching techniques, pastoral care, mentoring colleagues, assessment design, marking and team leadership.Benefits
Competitive salary: Lecturer £40,250 - £42,250; Senior Lecturer £48,000 - £53,000, plus London weighting of £4,200.
