Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering

The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Queen''s University Belfast is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering to strengthen our research and education activities. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research complements and expands our capabilities in bioprocess and biopharmaceutical engineering and/or digital and autonomous process engineering, although outstanding candidates working in closely aligned areas of chemical engineering are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will develop an ambitious programme of internationally recognised research, secure external funding and build collaborations across academia and industry. You will also contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Chemical Engineering, bringing contemporary research, industrial practice and emerging technologies into the curriculum. A key aspect of the role will be helping us equip graduates with the skills required by a rapidly changing chemical and process industries landscape.This is an opportunity to join a School with strong links to industry and an emphasis on research with real-world impact.
