Lecturer - Unit Design

The Creative Leadership MA at UAL is a fully online course that examines leadership as both an inventive practice and a relational act. It is designed for both emergent and established leaders who have the desire to creatively reframe what it means to lead in the 21st century. We are looking for an experienced educator with specialist knowledge of creative leadership to contribute to developing this new fully online postgraduate programme at Central Saint Martins. Lecturer - Unit Design colleagues working in this model of design and development are the primary subject matter experts responsible for defining the curriculum, developing projects and assessment briefs, and for the authoring of course resources. This is a fixed term opportunity; you''ll work 2 days per week for 8.5 months starting in mid-November 2026. The role is to design and develop the content for a specified unit. About you We are looking for an experienced educator with expertise in systems, design and futures approaches to complexity, ready to bring this thinking into the emergent discipline of creative leadership as you develop and design our new unit, ''Creative Leadership for Complex Worlds''. You will draw on your academic knowledge of these methodologies alongside firsthand experience applying them within the creative and cultural sector or to other real-world challenges, such as technology, sustainability, or urban development.
