      <description>Location: Blackburn | Salary: &amp;pound;28273 - &amp;pound;42655/annum | Type: Permanent | Lecturer in Physics   Close date 01/07/2026  Salary - £28,273 to £42,655 gross per annum (pro rata for part time)      Interview Date: Monday 6 July 2026        The Role     As a lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Science programmes. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design / development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered.  You will teach on a range of courses at level 2 to level 3 including full time, part time and A-levels.    What are we looking for?     You should possess a UK Honours degree or UK ENIC recognised degree in Physics, a recognised teaching qualification and the ability to teach BTEC Applied Science at Level 2 and 3. You should also have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to motivate and inspire students. This would be an ideal opportunity for a newly Qualified Teacher.
