Lecturer in Health Psychology (0.6) – Redeployee Only. City St George’s, University of London invites applications for a part-time, permanent academic position in the School of Health and Medical Sciences, Department of Psychology, based at Rhind Building. The role is linked to the MSc in Psychology of Health and Well-Being, with potential teaching on undergraduate Psychology programmes. The salary is £51,753 (pro rata) per year.Responsibilities
Primarily contribute to teaching on the MSc in Psychology of Health and Well-Being; potential teaching on undergraduate Psychology programmes.Module leadership and personal tutoring responsibilities.Supervise dissertations and design/mark coursework assessments.Contribute to departmental administrative duties and participate in team, departmental, and student events and meetings.For Education and Research track: contribute to research activities in line with the University’s Research Strategy, including dissemination and income generation.Person Specification
Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in Psychology, tailored to diverse student needs, informed by research, innovative pedagogy, and scholarship; demonstrated through engagement with the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and supporting learning in Higher Education.Honours degree in a related discipline and PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field.Education and Research track applicants must have a strong publication record and demonstrated experience in securing research funding.Additional Information
