BackgroundWe are looking to recruit an outstanding academic to join our Division of Public and Population Health, within the Department of Global, Public and Population Health and Policy. The post holder will be expected to play a key role the development of a new distance (online) postgraduate programme in global health. This will be achieved in collaboration with MSc Programme Director, relevant module leads, the e-Learning team, and the program administrator. The successful candidate will also contribute to the teaching and research supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students while participating in the conduct and development of City St. George’s, University of London internationally competitive global health research programme.

Person SpecificationApplicants should have extensive experience of teaching and assessing in the higher education sector. They should also have experience of developing and delivering distance (online) programmes. Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

Enthusiasm for teaching and research

High level of prioritisation and organisation

Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills

This role will be suitable for an academic with degree in relevant discipline.
