We have a vacancy in the Engineering area of our Construction and Engineering team working in our state of-the-art Construction Centre at Lancaster and Morecambe College. Join our Energy, Engineering and Construction team as a Lecturer in Engineering, where you ll deliver engaging Level 2 and 3 engineering programmes, develop practical learning experiences, and support students to achieve their academic and career goals. Applications are welcomed from qualified industry professionals with up to date experience in the mechanical/maintenance and/or electrical engineering trade or industry who do not yet hold a teaching qualification. We would expect you to have a keen interest in the development of young people entering the profession and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and teaching potential. You ll bring extensive industry experience in machining and fitting, a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning, and a passion for supporting learners to succeed.
