Birmingham School of Architecture and Design at Birmingham City University is a creative, diverse and interdisciplinary community of students, staff and practitioners exploring sustainable and inclusive design with our city, region and beyond. Through our teaching, research, and strong connections to industry we empower our students to create ideas and actions to radically change the way we live, now and into the future. We are looking for a Lecturer in Architecture and Design to contribute to the teaching of integrated design and resolution studios and be led by research informed practice with a strong emphasis on sustainable and inclusive futures. We offer several undergraduate Architecture and Design degrees in the School including Parts 1, 2 and 3 RIBA Validated Awards, Interior Architecture and Landscape Architecture. All the programmes enjoy high student satisfaction with an established reputation in the historic Birmingham School of Architecture established in 1908. These posts will principally be responsible for teaching, across BA(Hons) Architecture and/or BA (Hons) Interior Architecture.
